NEW GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (RGPD)
(Regulation 2016/679 and the Council of 27 April 2016)
Communication to Individual Clients and Business Clients
The application of the new General Regulation on Data Protection, which began on April 25, 2018, establishes rules regarding the protection, treatment and free circulation of personal data of natural persons and is directly applicable to all entities that treat such data. Member State of the European Union of which Portugal is a member.
The communication of information to Private Customers shall apply, with appropriate adaptations, to users of services, account administrators, representatives and sole proprietors.
Multi Serviços Ramos GR Lda, headquartered at Rua D. João Xavier, 6 in Lagos, NIPC 502 912 901, designated by the brand MULTI – rent a car, Rental of Passenger Vehicles and Commercial Vehicles, complies with Data Protection Legislation including the provisions contained in the RGPD, by means of a rigorous data management process, with due respect for appropriate technical and organizational measures and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.

Data processing is done with all privacy, confidentiality and security. Your confidence in the protection of your personal data is part of our main objectives and is one of our most important responsibilities.
In accordance with the RGPD, you need to review your consent. Our records include data obtained during the contractual relationship established with Multi Serviços Ramos G.R. Lda.
Thus, for the processing of personal data, within the RGPD, Multi Serviços Ramos G.R. Lda makes the following comunication:
1- The Customer / Renter provides at the beginning of the Car Rental Agreement his or her personal data and those of the drivers of the vehicle, for the purpose of identification within the same, expressly authorizing Multi Serviços Ramos GR Lda to proceed with its computer treatment.
2- The Customer / Renter is responsible for providing current and accurate data to Multi Serviços Ramos G.R. Lda.
3- Under the terms of the RGPD, Multi Serviços Ramos G.R. Lda informs the following:
a) Multi Serviços Ramos G.R. Lda is the entity responsible for the processing of personal data provided under the contract, whose registered office is Rua D. João Xavier, 6 8600-574 Lagos; the Customer / Renter may contact Multi Serviços Ramos GR Lda for any question related to the protection of personal data, as well as for the exercise of the rights related to their personal data, by means of written communication to the e-mail address info@multiportugal.com or through the website www.multialgarve.com, or by postal mail to the address Rua D. João Xavier, 6 8600-574 Lagos.
(b) In accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) of the RGPD, the processing of personal data is intended to conclude and execute rental contracts.
c) Pursuant to paragraph c) of paragraph 1 of article 6 of the RGPD, personal data may be transmitted to third parties whenever it is necessary to guarantee compliance with any legal obligations that Multi Serviços Ramos GR Lda is subject, in particular, to judicial authorities, criminal police bodies, tax and customs authorities and regulatory authorities;
d) Personal data can only be processed for other purposes, whenever the owner has given express consent to Multi Serviços Ramos G.R. Lda;
e) Multi Serviços Ramos G.R. Lda will keep personal data processed for the period necessary to provide the services, respective invoicing and compliance with legal obligations;
f) Multi Serviços Ramos GR Lda, in its legitimate interest, will treat personal data to the extent necessary for the collection of debts of the Client / Hirer, for the provision of the service, based on the performance of this contract and in the legitimate interest in assert their right to such a charge.
g) Multi Serviços Ramos GR Lda, in its legitimate interest, will treat personal data collected under this contract and during the term of the contract, for communications of campaigns and actions of marketing of products and services related to the Client / Renter . If you do not wish to receive such communications, the Customer / Contractor may refuse them immediately or using the means indicated in paragraph 3, letter a).
h) The collection of personal data through our Website, will always be authorized by the user, will be asked whenever filling in the personal data, that authorize a checkbox the collection of the same and once authorized, will be done in accordance with this Privacy Policy , and your authorization must assume that this has been read and understood as well as the Website Terms and Conditions.
4- At any time, the holder of personal data has the right to:
a) To access them, within the limits of the contract and the RGPD;
b) To alter and oppose the respective treatment;
c) Decide on the automated treatment of them;
d) To request the total or partial limitation of the treatment of your personal data;
e) Withdraw consent;
f) Request that the data be erased and exercise the other rights provided for in the legislation in force (except the data that are indispensable for the execution of the contract, and as such are mandatory supply, as well as for compliance with legal obligations to which Multi Services Ramos GR Lda is subject).
5- If you withdraw your consent, this does not compromise the legitimacy of the processing of data made up to that date.
6. In accordance with the terms of the RGPD, the data subject has the right to be notified if there is a violation of his / her personal data that may entail a high risk to the rights and freedoms, and may submit complaints to the authority (s) ).
7- Personal data may be transmitted to third parties that provide services to Multi Serviços Ramos G.R. Lda, whenever such services imply the communication of data contained in the rental agreements
8- The Client / Renter hereby declares at the time he signs the lease that took cognizance of the present information communicated and that he gives his consent that his personal data be collected by Multi Serviços Ramos GR Lda and treated for each one purposes.
